Privacy Policy

Loomtale is operated by Frappua. This page explains what we collect, who processes it and how to get rid of it. It is short because the service collects little.

What we collect

Account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and name. That is the whole account record.
The content you create. Premises, settings, generated text and images, save data and play progress for your stories.
Basic service logs. Requests and errors, kept so the service can be operated and debugged.

You can play a shared story or browse the gallery without an account, and we do not ask you to sign in to do it.

Payments

Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record. We never see or store card numbers. We only learn whether your subscription is active.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It records page views and performance without setting advertising cookies, without a cross-site identifier and without following you to other websites. We do not run ad networks or third-party trackers.

Where the data lives

Application data is stored with Convex, and images and the site itself are served from Cloudflare. Story text and images are generated by AI model providers, which receive the prompt for that generation. These providers act as our processors and are not allowed to use your content for their own purposes.

What we share

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. A story you publish or share by link is public by design: its title, cover, premise and content can be seen by anyone with the link, and public stories also appear in the gallery. Keep a story private if you do not want that.

Deleting your data

You can delete a story at any time from the editor. To remove everything, delete your account from the Account page: that removes your personal data and unpublishes your stories. Backups roll off on their own schedule shortly after.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date.
